my mind is still just @#$%^&*( from the stuff that happened so i just can't stop blogging. i'm sorry.
ANYWAY!
1. this is the day to have The New Year by DCFC on replay one thousand times and feel rightfully nostalgic about it. I remember how strange I felt when they played it in the August show.
2. it's new year's eve and i'm going to watch DVDs at home. watchnight service later, life is boring, but beautiful. work with it.
3. i'm listening to Silvery Sleds from Nick and Norah's infinite playlist. on replay.
4. i don't like playing guitar hero alone.
5. i'm hungry.

something bad happened?
i listened to "The New Year" at the end of 2006 and 2007 too. what an appropriate song for the new year right?
i'm going to watch DVDs at home too, just rented August Rush, I Am Sam and Into The Wild. not going out to countdown with the masses..
that Army Navy song is pretty warm and uplifting. amazing how if the song is used at the right show or part, it gives the song a whole new meaning and life.
hahah, yeah. but i'll get over it!
mmhm. twenty minutes to 09, i'm not feeling much. dangit.
i watched august rush! i really liked the soundtrack. the guitar thing the kid did was really cool.
you need loads of patience to do the album-listening thing don't you!
mmm, but then again, that way you can really learn to appreciate their art as a whole, which is really nice.
how did the movies go?
& happy new year.
you can talk to me about it if you have no one "suitable" to talk to.
what were you expecting to feel? exicted? haha, another year passed is something like a victory, that a year's worth of ups and downs has been through.
i was out actually, had a good dinner with a good friend of mine and returned home 2 hours before the new year and started my daily routine of listening to music again. so i didn't manage to watch any shows yet, but am planning to do so later.
i used to be very much a singles kind of person, but it got kind of bland and boring after a while. i realise over the years the an album when listened as a whole, gives out much more than just a song. you should get down to that someday. need any albums, just let me know.
and Happy New Year! put what's bugged you in 2008, behind.
thank you.
haha, well. it's just that 2008 was a crazy, crazy, year. and it seemed almost like i should feel something you know? to mark the end to all this mess/greatness.
but eventually i did, which wasn't this whole big exclaimation that it's over, because it really isn't. everything still goes on, nobody's stopping for no one. mm. but i won't put all the bad stuff behind either.. after all, we live and learn.
i just feel really thankful for the people who came into my life, especially this year. LIKE RACHEL! she's an amazing, amazing person with a huge heart.
i'll sit down and listen to a couple of albums soon, i admit i judge songs alot by their intros which is really almost like dirty cheating. i'd like to change that!
your new year's eve sounded cool. i got a couple of good friends over instead, and we basically killed oldies on the karaoke set, but it was all in good fun!
mm. well i hope the new year brings about new beginnings for your family, and i'm sure you'll be able to handle tough issues wisely.
alright man, enjoy the shows! i need sleeeeep.
I SEE MY NAME.
Icekimo soon! One million things to tell you, sort of, but not really.
this is clarissa i'm using my brothers account.
rachel: heh, ME TOO! talk to you really soon.
