thank you so much for that song, but i've already have it, the entire CD to be honest. been listening to them since the Howl Howl Gaff Gaff days.. they are such a warm sounding band, so much so they make me feel bittersweet all the time..
is Ceph your brother? left for town? where's he to?
meh, i knew it was you. as Very Loud is on Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, and i sort of remembered you had it on loop or something. but i appreciate the whole "mysterious" thing. haha.
impossible's kinda negative. "I don't want to wake up knowing i don't have a future, impossible, impossible, your love is something i cannot remember" but Bebban's vocals at "IMPOSSIBLE" is something to be swooned about..
in my opinion, they really expanded their sound on Our Ill Wills.
i think you are a very lyrics kind of listener. right? i am not one actually, as i tend to focus more on the delivery first, before moving on to the lyrics.
Feb? my sister left around this time last year for the States to work, and the trip actually made us siblings closer. i got to visit the States as a result of her working there. it's strange as we don't really talk much at home, but since she left home to work, i realised how much she means to me and that now, i appreciate her to a whole new level. now she's finally back, i feel the trip has done us more good than bad. of course the missing part is often undesired.. also, being the only child of the family left, you'll actually realise your role in the family and things like that. your brother's 21?
mmhm. i have bits and pieces of Our Ill Wills lying about, i don't like Very Loud that much actually.. but really, there's something about their drummer. he makes my heartbeat feel like it's being amplified for some queer unexplainable reason!
haha, i love beautiful lyrics. like.. damien rice's stuff. i think he's brilliant. but it really depends! when i listen to a song, i might like it at the first instance, but for me to really fall completely in love with it, the build up and structure, kinda seals the deal. it makes the song seem so much more epic and seamless in a sense!
mm. i don't think i really made sense back there. haha, i hope i managed to paint a better picture anyway!
yup, february. he's 21 this year. seems like you went through alot after your sister left. and grew! it's really cool, having to realise the part you play in your family. are things better? you must be really excited that your sister's back! is she back for good?
i'll feel really fortunate to even experience half of what you and your sister did! even with army and him not being around most of the time.. our relationship just fluctuates. but it's alright! we'll just try to treasure whatever time we have with him left.
all the crazy percussion sounds yes? i'm uploading the entire album now by the way, if you want it.
i totally understand the whole chunk of words you typed there, seriously understand them.
at the mention of Damien Rice, i actually like listening to many male singer songwriters, like Jeff Buckley, Rufus Wainwright, Elliot Smith, Joseph Arthur etc. it's just them being alone most of the time and the lyrics being written from a guy's perspective that really connects with me.
don't worry about the relationship with your brother, afterall, you're all bonded by blood, no matter what, there's this infinite closeness even if actions or words don't show it.
my sister's back for good now, and she has really changed as a person, for the better and it really pleases me.

Jeff Buckley - Last Goodbye
i have the jeff buckley one (:
thanks!
jeff buckley is amazing. pity he had to pass on at such a young age. and everyone adores his leonard cohen hallelujah cover.
rufus wainwright voice is really smooth, whoever thought cigarettes and chocolate milk could sound right together?
what you have with your sister sounds lovely. yeah, you're right. we're family afterall!
